A GARDEN OF LIGHT AND SHADOW

Located in Porto Cervo, the garden unfolds on sloping terrain, full of outcropping rocks and characterized by plays of light and shadow projected by the foliage of the Mediterranean scrub trees.  

For this project I was inspired by impressionist painting techniques, where the light inside the canvases is the protagonist.

The garden was entirely redesigned together with the renovation of the Villa. The need was to make all the external spaces of the property usable and make them inhabited, to give the whole naturalness and at the same time order and elegance. The element of water was introduced into the project, exploiting the natural conformation of some existing rocks
